Naturopathy or naturopathic medicine is a form of alternative medicine employing a wide array of “natural” treatments; including homeopathy, herbalism, and acupuncture, as well as diet and lifestyle counseling. By using safe and effective protocols, naturopathic doctors help facilitate the human body’s natural ability to maintain and restore optimal health. It is the role of a naturopath to seek out and treat barriers to good health by helping to create a healing environment.
