All About Orchard's Naturopathic Center

Orchard’s Naturopathic Center has been providing a wide range of alternative and chiropractic treatments to the people of East Idaho since 1949. Dr. Gary Orchard and Dr. David Booth take a whole-body approach to health, focusing on physical, emotional, and mental aspects.

Services range from nutritional counseling, hormone balancing, and weight loss to sports injuries, rehab, and chiropractic care. Our office is a popular place for our patients to refer their friends and family to because we offer some of the most affordable treatment in town, with simple, low-pressure plans to help you on your journey to wellness. Meet the Doctors

Dr. Orchard

Dr. Gary Lane Orchard works as, and is, a third-generation naturopath. His grandfather, Afton Orchard, was among the first Naturopathic Physicians in the state of Idaho, opening the practice in Idaho Falls in 1949. Afton was joined by his son Gary K. Orchard in 1981 who also practiced as a Naturopath.

Gary L. joined his father in 1995 following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He started early in life learning and gaining experience being tutored by both generations.

Gary did his undergraduate studies at Ricks College where he met and married his wife Melanie, then proceeded to Western States Chiropractic College. After graduating as a Chiropractor in 1995 and joining the family business he continued seeking more education while working. He graduated from the International Academy of Acupuncture as a certified acupuncturist in 2000 and Great Lakes College as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2011.

Gary and his wife Melanie have been married for 27 years in August of 2019. They have 4 beautiful daughters and 1 lucky son. The family enjoys spending time with each other in the outdoors in all weather and climates.

Dr. Booth

Dr. David Booth has worked in the field of chiropractic and natural healing for over 25 years. In addition to his doctorate degree, he also holds an advanced certificate in functional medicine. Finally, he has received extensive training in qEEG and brain stimulation.

He is passionate about helping his patients get to the bottom of their health issues through diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes.

David was born in San Diego, California, where his parents were stationed at the Navy base, but was eventually raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gina, David’s wife, grew up in Rexburg, Idaho, and after attending Ricks College, moved to SLC to attend the University of Utah. This is where small town meets big city, and Dave and Gina fell in love. Rexburg was where they decided to raise their children.

David enjoys the outdoors, playing his saxophone, rock climbing, and trying new things.
