All About Orchard's Naturopathic Center

Dr. Gary Lane Orchard works as, and is, a third-generation naturopath. His grandfather, Afton Orchard, was among the first Naturopathic Physicians in the state of Idaho, opening the practice in Idaho Falls in 1949. Afton was joined by his son Gary K. Orchard in 1981 who also practiced as a Naturopath.

Gary L. joined his father in 1995 following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He started early in life learning and gaining experience being tutored by both generations.

Gary did his undergraduate studies at Ricks College where he met and married his wife Melanie, then proceeded to Western States Chiropractic College. After graduating as a Chiropractor in 1995 and joining the family business he continued seeking more education while working. He graduated from the International Academy of Acupuncture as a certified acupuncturist in 2000 and Great Lakes College as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2011.

Gary and his wife Melanie have been married for 27 years in August of 2019. They have 4 beautiful daughters and 1 lucky son. The family enjoys spending time with each other in the outdoors in all weather and climates.

Dr. Mark Kennington was born and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was involved in soccer, ballroom dance, and football. Dr. Kennington attended Parker University in Dallas, Texas, where he earned a Doctorate in chiropractic, a master's in functional nutrition, a bachelor's in anatomy, and a bachelor's in health and wellness.

 

Dr. Kennington enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Mykele, and their two dogs, fishing, camping, hiking, and taking advantage of the beautiful mountains. Dr. Kennington has collaborated with notable figures like Miss America contestants, professional and college basketball, soccer players, football players, volleyball players, and even celebrities seeking cameo appearances.

 

Through his commitment to a personalized approach, he has consistently facilitated the attainment of their health and wellness objectives, whether it pertains to enhancing athletic performance, managing chronic health conditions, or fostering a sense of optimal well-being.
