All About Orchard's Naturopathic Center

Dr. Gary Lane Orchard works as, and is, a third-generation naturopath. His grandfather, Afton Orchard, was among the first Naturopathic Physicians in the state of Idaho, opening the practice in Idaho Falls in 1949. Afton was joined by his son Gary K. Orchard in 1981 who also practiced as a Naturopath.

Gary L. joined his father in 1995 following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He started early in life learning and gaining experience being tutored by both generations.

Gary did his undergraduate studies at Ricks College where he met and married his wife Melanie, then proceeded to Western States Chiropractic College. After graduating as a Chiropractor in 1995 and joining the family business he continued seeking more education while working. He graduated from the International Academy of Acupuncture as a certified acupuncturist in 2000 and Great Lakes College as a Naturopathic Doctor in 2011.

Gary and his wife Melanie have been married for 27 years in August of 2019. They have 4 beautiful daughters and 1 lucky son. The family enjoys spending time with each other in the outdoors in all weather and climates.

Dr. Justin Crook’s family have been patients at Orchard’s Naturopathic Center since it opened 63 years ago, with three generations of Crook’s being treated by three different generations of Orchards.
 

From a young age he came to realize the importance of maintaining optimum health both structurally and physiologically, and the body's amazing ability to heal itself if given the proper tools. As his interest in helping others achieve that level of health grew, he choose an educational path that has led him to where he is today.
 

Dr. Crook completed most of his pre-med undergraduate work at Utah State University. From there he attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Human Anatomy, a Bachelor’s of Health and Wellness, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
 

Dr. Crook enjoys spending his free time with his 3 beautiful daughters. They love any activity year-round that gets them outdoors together.
